The QUADRUPED® is a Canine Frisbee® disc long distance catching competition.

   

The STANDARD HEAT of The QUADRUPED® consists of 4 dogs, 3 rounds, long distance elimination. Each team has a separate color Frisbee® disc to throw, and catches are marked on the field with the same color Frisbee® disc the team is throwing. In the following examples throws are from left to right across the screen.

 

Each team takes their three throws, and at the end of the
 First Round the team with the shortest catch is eliminated.

 

In the Second Round the three teams all take their throws,
and again the team with the shortest catch is eliminated.

 

In the Final Round the two teams remaining then alternate
 their 3 throws one at a time so that it comes down to the next
to last or the very last throw. After the Final Round is complete
 the team with the longest catch is declared the heat winner.
